Split large CSV files online free
Split one large CSV by row count, maximum file size, or a target number of balanced parts, then download every part in one ZIP.
Split one large CSV up to 100 MB entirely in your browser without uploading it. Choose row count, target file size, or number of parts, and download the smaller CSV files together in one ZIP with row order preserved. Large splits can be memory-hungry, and the tool warns you before starting when the selected split enters its high-memory range.

Common uses
- Split by rows or file size
- Balanced target part count
- Quoted fields kept intact
- Single ZIP download
How should I choose the split size?
Choose a row limit when each output should contain a predictable number of records, a size target when file size matters, or a target part count when you want roughly even pieces. A single unusually large row can exceed a size target because rows are never cut in half. Repeat the header when each part must open independently, and verify the total rows before downloading.
