Prepare a Product CSV for WooCommerce Import Field by Field
Review the product, price, stock, category, parent, and attribute columns that matter before a WooCommerce CSV import.
A field-by-field review is useful when a supplier CSV has the right data but different labels. Work from identity and relationship fields first, then prices and stock, then descriptive and taxonomy fields.
Identity and product type
Keep SKU stable and confirm Type is appropriate for each row. Variable products and their variation rows depend on consistent identifiers and parent relationships.
Price and inventory
Map source values such as regular_price and sale_price to Regular price and Sale price. Map the quantity column to Stock and keep any inventory-control column only when it represents the WooCommerce field you intend to import.
Categories, parents, and attributes
Check Categories, Parent, and Attribute 1 name / Attribute 1 value(s) before export. These fields affect where a product appears and how variations are connected.
Use the mapper to rename, reorder, keep, or drop columns locally up to 200 MB.
