The selection rules

The consolidator offers five ways to decide which supplier wins when multiple feeds contain the same SKU:

| Rule | When to use | | --- | --- | | Priority | Your primary supplier should always win, with others as backup | | Lowest price | You want the cheapest unit for every item | | Highest stock | You want the supplier with the most inventory | | First | Supplier order in your upload determines the winner | | Last | The last supplier in your upload order wins |

Priority: explicit supplier ordering

Reorder suppliers to set their priority. The first supplier in the list always wins ties unless a different rule is selected.

Price vs. stock tradeoffs

Lowest-price selection can drain your primary supplier's inventory faster, leaving lower-priority suppliers at risk of overselling. Highest-stock selection can lead to higher costs if your cheapest supplier has less inventory. Choose based on your business's fulfillment strategy.

Conflict reporting

Every time two suppliers disagree on price or quantity for the same SKU, the tool records a conflict row. Open the conflict report alongside the consolidated feed to review these decisions.
